I created The Science Boutique while I was conducting research in astrophysics. It began as a cathartic project, something just for fun. Other women in my lab loved the jewelry and encouraged me to put it on Etsy. The Science Boutique grew from there.

My husband Joffre and I met in the Galápagos Islands, where our shared love for nature and science first brought us together. The Galápagos—our second home—makes the realities of climate change impossible to ignore. That’s why we prioritize sustainability in every part of our business. All of our packaging, even the tape, is compostable.
